This is an original acrylic painting.
It is part of my “Wildlife & The Earth” series depicting wildlife in the effects of climate change and the need of awareness for their survival. I painted this Artic Wolf with some texture and added metallic silver paint to suggest ice, melting. I thought the added touch of texture adds some interest and an abstract touch as well.
The title of this piece is hopefully making us aware that without our mindfulness of our footprint on this earth and what we leave behind, the artic wolves are in danger of being just that, a ghost.
Painted on a 1 1/2″ stretched gallery canvas.
Sides are painted.
Signed on the front.
